Podiums & Awards Structure

We are proud to recognize outstanding performances on the platform with official event medals:

• Open Weight Classes: Official medals will be awarded to the Top 3 lifters in each open weight class.

• Age Group Awards: Medals will also be awarded for age group divisions. To ensure fair and competitive groupings based on final turnouts, the exact age group medal scoring and categories will be announced leading up to the event after the November 11th entry deadline has passed.

Session Schedule & Prize Breakdown

We are running three high-energy sessions throughout the day, each featuring unique prize opportunities. Due to strict venue capacities, athlete caps are firmly enforced.

Morning Session (AM)

• Roster Cap: Strictly limited to 30 athletes.

• Who it's for: General registration athletes (default placement upon registering).

• The Prize: A dedicated Novice Professional Cash Prize awarded to the Best Lifter of the morning session. (Exact cash amount to be announced at a later date).

• Novice Eligibility Rules: To qualify for this cash prize, athletes must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have less than 5 years of competitive experience.

  • Must never have competed at a Powerlifting America National Championship or any other federation's National Championship event.

Afternoon Session (PM)

• Roster Cap: Strictly limited to 30 athletes.

• Who it's for: High-level competition bridging the morning and the main event.

• Prizes: Additional sponsor-backed prize details for this session are currently being finalized!

Primetime Session (Evening)

• Roster Cap: Planned as an elite, smaller showcase. The final athlete count is to be determined.

• Who it's for: Exclusive Invitation-Only session featuring the top-ranked lifters pulled from the overall registration pool.

• The Prize: Minimum $1,000 cash prize for the overall Best Lifter of the King Prime Classic.

• Scoring Protocol: The grand prize winner will be determined strictly by GL Points. There will be no age coefficients applied—pure performance takes the crown.

We are actively collaborating with partners and sponsors to expand the total cash prize pool across all sessions. Stay tuned for further expansion announcements!

How Registration & Primetime Selection Works

To keep the competition fierce and organized, all athletes will follow a streamlined roster process:

1. Register Early: All interested lifters must register in advance using the link below before the November 11th deadline.

2. Default AM Placement: Upon initial registration, all athletes will automatically be assigned to the Morning (AM) Session until it caps out.

3. Primetime Selection: As registration fills, officials will review the athlete pool. The final roster for the elite, small-field Primetime Evening Session will be selected by invitation based on this registration data. If you are selected, you will be formally moved to the evening session.

• Refund Policy: This is a firm entry for the Powerlifting America King Prime Classic on December 12, 2026. All registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals, "no-shows," or disqualifications for any reason.

• Platform Equipment Standard: All lifting will take place at The Trenches Gym on competition-grade racks with a 100% Kilogram plate setup.
