F.       High School Representative – Claude Welcome, powerlifting in Keystone Games, wants to get Glen Mills involved

G.       Collegiate Representative – Erik Steiner, teams at Penn State, Slippery Rock, Mark Kodya, Al Siegel will work on putting together a meet in team format, have a team champion every year,1 bid 2007

H.      Master’s Representative

I.         Police and Firefighter’s Representative – Mike Shirey, incorporate powerlifting into police olympics

J.        Coaching Chairman – Robert Wagner not in attendance

K.      Referee Chairman Robert Keller, new referees being brought in, Steve Mann judges

VI.                 Agenda Items

A.      Establish a Police and Firefighter division to the Pennsylvania records (Shirey)

1.        Add military

2.        Shirey makes motion, Hubbard seconds, vote is unanimous yes

B.       Establish a Media Relations committee for the USAPL PA (Hubbard)

1.        Reason: we are lacking in getting word out about powerlifting

2.        Need more newspaper coverage in home towns.

3.        List powerlifting friendly gyms all over PA on website

4.        Robert Keller makes motion to establish Committee, Steiner seconds, vote is unanimous yes.

VII.               Motions from the Floor:

A.      Mike Kodya makes motion to have single lift DL records, Hubbard seconds, vote is unanimous yes.

VIII.             Contest Bids

A.      USAPL Pennsylvania State Powerlifting Championships (March 2005 )

1.        Move this to the second or third week in March so we don’t have to compete with Arnold Classic for attendance.

2.        Clarks Summit Ramada wants to be considered

3.        Brown’s Gym wants to be considered

B.       USAPL Pennsylvania State Bench Press/ Deadlift Championships (May 2005 )

C.       USAPL Ironman Championships (Fall 2005 )
